Juventus are one of a number of clubs understood to be expressing an interest in the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach youngster Winsley Boteli.
For those not familiar with his name, Boteli is a 17-year-old striker, currently plying his trade in the youth ranks of German outfit Monchengladbach. He is also a Swiss U18 international, boasting two goals across five caps.
Boteli has enjoyed a scintillating start to the new campaign, notching 12 goals in 10 appearances to establish himself as the U19 Bundesliga’s leading scorer.
Such eye-catching production has inevitably begun to pique interest from across the continent, with one club keeping a close eye on the frontman’s progress, as alluded to above, coming in the form of Juventus.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that the Bianconeri have scouts monitoring Boteli at present.
Premier League outfit Everton are also said to be in the hunt for the Swiss.
