Lazio close in on move for Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi

Lazio are making progress in their move for Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, who has also been linked with a move to Milan.

Il Messaggero (via TMW) have reported about Lazio’s interest in Berardi, stating that the Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito has already personally made efforts for the Italy international. They have now offered 20 million plus Matteo Cancellieri in their move.

Roma and Napoli are also interested in the player, with the Giallorossi having met the Neroverdi yesterday regarding their potential move for Davide Frattesi.

But Corriere della Sera have gone a step further about the situation of Berardi, stating that Lazio’s move for the winger is ‘very close’ and an agreement with Sassuolo already exists and they are yet to reach an agreement with the player.

Some days ago, Alfredo Pedulla had also reported about Berardi’s situation and he had stated that Milan did make contact for the player recently and Lazio won’t be against adding players in their move for the Azzurri star.
