Lazio interested in Bologna’s Lewis Ferguson as potential Sergej Milinković-Savić replacement

Lazio are interested in the possibility of signing Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson and see the Scotsman as a potential replacement for Sergej Milinković-Savić.

Marco Conterio has reported that there is a concrete possibility of Milinković-Savić leaving Lazio this summer and there is concrete interest in Italy and in the Premier League. The future of Luis Alberto is also in doubt, with a renewal for his Serbian teammate looking far from certain.

As a result, the Biancocelesti are studying the possibility of signing replacements in the summer and are keeping eyes on some players already. The hottest name on their shortlist is that Ferguson, with Lazio following the Scotsman with a great deal of attention.

He has done well for the Rossoblu this season in what has been his breakout campaign. He has scored four Serie A goals and recently found the back of the net against Salernitana in a 2-2 draw involving the two sides. Other major Italian clubs have also been linked with the midfielder.
