Lazio on the verge of sealing move for Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi

Lazio are now said to be on the verge of sealing a move for Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi.

Yesterday, it was reported that Lazio were making progress in their move for Berardi and it seems as if the optimism has increased on that front today.

Il Messaggero (via TMW) have reported today that the Roman outfit have all but sealed their move for Berardi. An agreement with the player has been reached and there is an understanding with Sassuolo regarding what will be paid as part of the permanent move.

Maurizio Sarri had a meeting with the Lazio higher-ups yesterday and that is when the key turning point arrived. An agreement is now in the pipeline, with Lazio to pay €20 million plus Matteo Cancellieri to the Neroverdi as part of the deal. Berardi is expected to sign a four-year deal worth €2.5 million per season at Lazio, who have beaten competition from Milan and Roma.
