Manchester United agree fee with Atalanta for Rasmus Højlund

Premier League giants Manchester United have now agreed a transfer fee with Atalanta for the signing of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund.

Talks between the two clubs had started once again in a fresh meeting on Friday evening and discussions were held about a potential agreement. The player was not part of La Dea’s starting XI for the friendly against Bournemouth in the South Coast, which is a positive sign.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that after talks, a fee between United and Atalanta has now been agreed for Højlund.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the fee is at a total of €75 million and that have further bonuses of €10 million.

Atalanta had initially wanted a total package of €80 million and United’s previous offer was at €60 million plus bonuses but the latest round of talks have sealed the move as intermediaries were locked in talks for some time today, with personal terms already in place between the Dane and United.
