Premier League giants Manchester United are now awaiting an offer from Lazio for Brazilian midfielder Fred.
It was reported last night that Lazio are interested in the possibility of signing the 30-year-old, who has already spoken to some current and former Brazilian Lazio players about the club and he would be interested in joining the Biancocelesti.
Sky Italia now confirm that Lazioโs interest in the midfielder is genuine, with Maurizio Sarriโs side now looking to strengthen their midfield. Djibril Sow will communicate his decision to the club soon, as Sevilla have also entered the race for the Swiss star and jeopardised the Roman clubโs position.
But Fredโs name is a rather new one on the shortlist. Unitedโs asking price is said to be โฌ15 million and they are waiting for Lazioโs offer, which suggests that Erik ten Hagโs side are aware of the interest from the Roman outfit. Sarri is said to view Fred as a potential playmaker option, with Sow said to be a deeper midfield option. Galatasaray are also keen and are likely to provide competition.
