Manchester United held fresh meeting with Atalanta for Rasmus Højlund

Manchester United recently held a fresh meeting over their move for Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund.

The Dane has been left out of La Dea’s XI for the friendly against Bournemouth and he is on the bench for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side. Ademola Lookman is starting upfront, alongside Mario Pasalic.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that talks are continuing between United and La Dea for Højlund and a fresh meeting took place on Friday evening, as both the clubs tried to negotiate a fee. An agreement has not been reached between the two parties but it is slowly edging closer.

Talks remain ongoing and an agreement can be reached soon. The Dane already has an agreement over personal terms with United and he is keen on the move. Despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain, the 20-year-old remains keen on the move to Old Trafford as he is said to have supported the club as a child.
