Manchester United expected to adjust bid for Inter’s André Onana today

There are expected to be some developments in Manchester United’s move for Inter goalkeeper André Onana today.

United have already had an attempt pegged back for Onana some days back, with Inter sticking to their €60 million demand so far.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that the saga for the goalkeeper is now edging close to a conclusion, with United expected to make a renewed offer for the player today and offer more than their previous bid. United’s first offer was of a total of €45 million and that included bonuses of €5 million.

Erik ten Hag wants to make sure that the player is with him before United fly to the United States for the pre-season friendlies on the 20th of July. The Dutchman has spoken to Onana on the phone, having told him that a new approach from United will be made between today and tomorrow.

Inter are waiting for that offer, so that they can use that money to sign Romelu Lukaku and sign two goalkeepers – with one expected to be a younger one and the other expected to be an experienced one.
