Manchester United make new verbal offer for Inter’s André Onana

Manchester United have now made a new verbal offer for Inter goalkeeper André Onana but their offer remains short of the Nerazzurri’s valuation.

Yesterday, it was reliably reported that United offered a fee of €40 million plus €5 million in bonuses for Onana. Gianluca di Marzio has reported today that United have made a new verbal offer of €45 million for the Cameroon international. But Inter continue to demand €60 million for the player, with the club said to be demanding an initial fee of €50 million plus bonuses of €10 million.

It has been stated previously that talks between United and Inter remain ongoing, with the player’s agents driving the move. There is already an agreement over personal terms between United and Onana, with Erik ten Hag still clearly a fan of his former Ajax goalkeeper. Onana’s agent has already visited Manchester to know about the club’s interest in him.
