Marseille’s move for Inter’s Joaquin Correa to finalise today

Marseille are set to announce Joaquin Correa from Inter as a new signing soon as the finalisation of the deal is expected to take place today.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ligue 1 side Marseille are set to finalise terms with Inter in the next few hours for the transfer of Joaquin Correa.

The Argentine forward will join the French side on a season-long loan with an option to buy at the end of it. The Olympians will be able to trigger the buying clause after the player has attained certain conditions and they will have to pay €15 million to make it permanent.

Inter were just waiting for the right buyer to arrive and it seems like both parties involved here now are interested in progressing with the deal as soon as possible.

The Nerazzurri are set to have a reunion with Alexis Sanchez who departed the club a year ago but is expected to return as a replacement for the 29-year-old forward. The Chilean grabbed up the offer from the Italian side after a salary of around €3 million net was offered to him.
