Milan’s Charles de Ketelaere likely to accept Atalanta move

Milan’s Charles de Ketelaere is now likely to accept a move to Atalanta, despite interest from Fulham and Real Sociedad.

Daniele Longo has reported about the future of De Ketelaere, stating that today is likely to be decisive regarding the Belgian’s future. On Wednesday, Milan had reached an agreement Atalanta about an initial loan deal with La Dea having the option to buy the player permanently next summer for a fee of €23 million.

All of the player’s wages will be covered by Atalanta and while there has been talk of the fact that De Ketelaere did speak to Atalanta and his agents yesterday, a meeting between him and his entourage will take place today and it will be decisive. The player has an inclination for the Bergamo side and is likely to accept that as a destination, with Gian Piero Gasperini keen on make sure that the player rediscovers his form.

Fulham and Real Sociedad are keen on the 22-year-old, who would much rather prefer Atalanta. And now, the Rossoneri are only waiting for De Ketelaere to move.
