Milan’s Fode Ballo-Toure set for Werder Bremen

Milan full-back Fode Ballo-Toure is set for a move to German side Werder Bremen this summer.

Ballo-Toure initially seemed close to joining Fulham in the Premier League but the move didn’t go through, as the left-back rejected the transfer as he was keen on a move to Bologna, who had agreed personal terms with the player.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported about the situation of the left-back, stating that he is close to leaving Milan. He has accepted Werder Bremen’s offer and the two clubs are looking to close the deal for the player. As things stand, Milan hope to earn €5 million from his sale and are hoping that the deal closes within the week.

Ballo-Toure wants regular playing time and Werder Bremen are guaranteeing that, and have prepared a four-year deal. He had also accepted a move to Bologna on the condition that he was going to get regular first-team football, which he wasn’t going to get at Fulham.
