Milan’s Junior Messias set for Genoa move

Milan winger Junior Messias has been linked with a move away from the club for a while now and he is closing in on a move to Genoa.

Sky Italia have reported about the situation of the right-winger, stating that Messias’ move to Genoa is very close to completion and despite links with clubs away from Italy, he will stay in the country. The two clubs are currently defining the details of the move, the figures and the terms of the transfer.

Messias is currently on the sidelines of the club’s project, with the club having signed Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze. Torino and Besiktas were keen on signing him but Genoa have now all but sealed the move. Tomorrow, he will undergo a medical with the club as he waits for the two clubs to define the last details of the transfer.

The Brazilian won the Scudetto with Milan after joining from Crotone in 2021.
