Tottenham could consider Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku if Harry Kane joins Bayern Munich

Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku could become an option for Tottenham Hotspur, if the Lilywhites sell Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.

Spurs have now accepted Bayern’s offer for Kane, who is yet to give a decision about the move. But La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Spurs are planning for life after Kane. Alejo Veliz has already joined and the other two striker options are Porto’s Mehdi Taremi and Genk starlet Gift Orban. But another option is Lukaku, who is currently in London, not too far from where Tottenham currently are.

The Belgian returned to Cobham yesterday, the training center of the Blues, but remained away from the first team. In the last few hours, the idea of a swap deal with Juventus involving him and Dusan Vlahovic has stalled, even though the Belgian is keen on a move to the Bianconeri.

Chelsea are looking to find other solutions for the player and while one option could see him head to the Middle East, Spurs are another option. Even though Spurs are their direct rivals, the idea of monetising Lukaku’s exit could prove to be quite attractive for the Blues and Tottenham do have the striker on their shortlist.
