Napoli close to sealing Thiago Almada move

Serie A giants Napoli are said to be close to sealing a move for Atlanta United’s Thiago Almada.

Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli (via TMW) have reported about Napoli’s interest in the Argentine, stating that the Partenopei are close to sealing a move for him and could end up closing the move in a short amount of time. It is stated that a host of big clubs such as Juventus, Inter and Bundesliga sides have been keeping tabs on him.

The attacking midfielder is said to be valued at €20 million and this has been reported by Valter De Maggio, who happens to be the director of Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

Almada had joined Atlanta United from Velez last year for a fee of €14.5 million and in the 2023 edition of the MLS, he has scored four goals and has racked up five assists in six appearances so far. He was part of Argentina’s World Cup squad and has scored once for the Selecao so far in his career.
