Napoli star Kim Min-Jae’s entourage on Man Utd links: “There has been no contact”

The entourage of Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae has revealed that there has been no contact from Manchester United.

Il Mattino recently reported that the South Korean has said ‘yes’ to a move to join the Red Devils and United are paying a high salary to him and have informed Napoli about paying the release clause.

But Kim’s entourage has now spoken about the rumours and they have told Star News Korea that the rumours aren’t true, even though the Red Devils have been keeping tabs on the ex-Fenerbahce player since his time in China.

The player’s entourage told the outlet: “It’s not true that a deal is closed with Manchester United, Kim is focused on the end of the season and then we still don’t know which English teams will go to the Champions League. There is no hurry for the future. United have been interested in him since he was in China, but we have always and only chatted. I repeat: there has been no contact.”

Kim’s current deal has a release clause which is active for the first 15 days of July and it has been reported that the intermediaries who are working on Victor Osimhen’s future are the ones who are working on a deal for Kim. All of this points towards the fact that since Napoli don’t have a say in negotiating the deal because of the release clause and the agents have denied the talk, intermediaries are at work to brief the Italian media about the South Korean and Manchester United.
