Napoli to resume talks over Piotr Zielinski renewal

There is now a possibility of Piotr Zielinski signing a new contract with Napoli this summer.

The Polish midfielder’s current deal at the Partenopei expires in the summer of 2024 and there has been talk of a potential exit this summer. Il Mattino today state that talks for the Polish star’s deal will renew soon, as he stated his desire to stay at the club after the loss to Monza, clarifying that he wantedt to play for Napoli despite Premier League interest.

There will be meetings between Zielinski’s agents and Aurelio de Laurentiis soon and they will need to find an agreement over wages and they will need to be in line with the salary caps at the club. He currently earns €3.5 million per season.

Amir Rrahmani meanwhile, is set to sign a new deal and only the announcement is now pending. Hirving Lozano’s situation and future will be looked at soon, with Premier League clubs interested in the Mexican winger and they could make offers for him.
