Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia returning to form before huge Real Madrid clash

Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia seems to be getting back some momentum and it is coming back at the right time this season.

There was a period some days ago when the Georgian had not scored even once since March and had picked up only three assists for the Partenopei, who had been on a disappointing run under Rudi Garcia. There were question marks around the Frenchman’s approach too.

Some days later, the questions have been silenced – at least for the time being. Not just have Napoli recovered, but Kvaratskhelia also seems to got his form back.

The 22-year-old got back to scoring against Udinese and sparkled in the game, racking up two assists in a 4-1 win. Today, he picked up one assist against Lecce and impressed once again on the left wing, operating closer to goal as Napoli looked much more in control of possession.

Victor Osimhen has also now scored in consecutive games and with the TikTok controversy with the club behind him, the Nigerian and the Georgian could make an impact for Garcia’s side in the upcoming Champions League tie against Real Madrid.
