Swiss attacker Noah Okafor (23) has joined Milan on a permanent deal from RB Salzburg.
A move elsewhere was long overdue for Okafor, who’s been on many clubs’ radar for years now. Milan have finally given him the opportunity to show his quality somewhere else. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Rossoneri will pay a fee of around €14M to Salzburg to secure the 23-year-olds services. He’ll sign a contract until the summer of 2028.
Okafor mostly played centrally in attack for Salzburg, but he has also played on both wings before. The Swiss attacker joined Salzburg from FC Basel in January 2020 and has since then scored 34 goals in 110 appearances.
Milan continue to spend the money the received for Sandro Tonali well. The Rossoneri lacked options in attack last season and Okafor is an excellent player to add into the mix. It’s a great deal for a player with both Champions League and World Cup experience under his belt.
