Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is set to be called up to the Bianconeri squad for the first time in the club’s upcoming game against Monza.
Giovanni Albanese has reported that both Pogba and Dusan Vlahovic did well for the Next Gen side today, with the Frenchman assisting the Serbian too. Vlahovic scored three times, with Pogba assisting him once. This marks their return to fitness, with the Frenchman yet to play even once for Max Allegri’s side.
Vlahovic is now set to return to action, having returned from a pubalgia inflammation issue. Pogba’s knee issue has also healed and both the players are now expected to earn a call-up in the club’s upcoming Serie A clash against Monza. Leonardo Bonucci also trained today, but he is not expected to feature against Monza.
The Old Lady squad trained in a 4-3-3 shape today and Weston McKennie, despite links with Leeds United, also trained in full capacity.Â
