Paul Pogba’s Juventus return date unknown

Paul Pogba is slowly getting back to full fitness but his return date for Juventus remains unknown.

Giovanni Albanese has reported that while signs about Pogba’s fitness are rather positive and he would like to make sure that he is at Max Allegri’s disposal as soon as possible, there is no fixed return date yet.

Under treatment for a low-grade tear to the adductor of his right thigh, Pogba would like to return for Europa League quarter-finals first leg tie against Sporting but whether he can make it or not remains unknown. His contributions for the team since his move have been close to nothing as he has played only 35 minutes of first-team football.

Pogba’s choice of not undergoing surgery right after his first injury is costing him, it is believed. But the latest check-ups at J-Medical have gone quite well and there is a chance of him playing a role for the club before the season ends. But of course, it will take time for him to reach full match sharpness.
