West Ham and Juventus could soon reach agreement for Denis Zakaria

Premier League side West Ham United are interested in signing Juventus’ Denis Zakaria and could soon find an agreement for the player.

The Hammers have previously only enquired for the Swiss midfielder but Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that they will soon make their first offer for the ex-Chelsea man. The offer can arrive at Juve’s doorstep tomorrow and the Hammers are expected to offer about €18 million.

Juve currently want €25 million to sell the player permanently and despite the gap, there is an expectation that the agreement will be reached by next week. It will be Juve’s first major sale of the summer and it could open up the possibility of the Old Lady moving for Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luca Pellegrini could potentially be involved in the move.

Zakaria was loaned out to Chelsea last summer but he failed to make an impact, while suffering from fitness issues. His future has been uncertain since the season ended.
