Serie A side Roma are interested in Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech and see him as a potential replacement for Nicolo Zaniolo.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported for Corriere della Sera that Roma are asking for €35 million to €40 million for Zaniolo, with only Spurs and Brighton having come forward but their approaches have been rather timid and do not come close to Roma’s valuation. Spurs have offered an initial loan deal with the option to buy, whereas Brighton have not gone beyond €25 million.
Tiago Pinto is looking at potential replacements for Zaniolo and Ziyech is one of the key names. Previoously looked at by Milan, Roma have made an enquiry with Chelsea about the Morocco international. As of now, the move will complicated because he currently earns €6.5 million per season and he has become a regular part of the Chelsea first-team again.
Milan had also faced issues around his wages, when they were looking to move for him.
