Tottenham seek discount from Juventus for Dejan Kulusevski

Tottenham are attempting to seek a discount from Juventus in their permanent move for Dejan Kulusevski.

The Swede had joined Juve on an initial loan deal back in the January window of 2022 and Spurs had the obligation to buy him permanently, if they qualified for the Champions League. But they still have the option to buy him permanently even though they haven’t qualified for the Champions League.

Giovanni Albanese has reported that both parties are negotiating the player’s permanent sale. Juve want to stick to the €35 million option to buy that was inserted but Spurs are offering €25 million. Spurs know that other clubs are also interested but they also know that other clubs may not pay what they are offering.

Relations between the two clubs are excellent and there is a willigness to find an agreement for the Swede. Talks remain ongoing but Spurs still need to up their offer by a certain amount.
