Tottenham’s Fabio Paratici interested in Brighton’s Roberto de Zerbi

Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici would be interested in hiring Brighton and Hove Albion boss Roberto de Zerbi.

Marco Conterio, in his column for TMW, has reported that Antonio Conte is going further and further away from Tottenham and replacements are being looked at by the Lilywhites. Contacts with former boss Mauricio Pochettino have been ongoing for two months now and the Argentine will be happy to return to the club.

But for now, Pochettino would also wait for potential opportunities at Real Madrid. But Paratici’s presence means that he will also have a say in the appointment and would be interested in taking De Zerbi to the London giants. Pochettino, it has been explained, is a very Levy choice and hiring him may not sit well with the ex-Juventus sporting director.

The former Sassuolo manager has a release clause of €13 million at Brighton and has already attracted interest from Liverpool.
