Juventus nearing move for Jordan Henderson

Serie A giants Juventus are making progress in a move for former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.

The Bianconeri have been linked with a move for the midfielder in recent days, with the player keen on leaving Saudi Arabia. Giovanni Albanese has reported that talks between the two parties are currently on and Henderson is now on the Old Lady’s shortlist for midfield signings.

An agreement is yet to be found on wages and the duration of the contract, but talks are ongoing and progress is being made. Juve consider Henderson’s wages to be affordable because it would be a loan deal and loan deals in January are much more financially viable in January.

Max Allegri has already given his approval to the move, with Cristiano Guintoli now following up on negotiations as well. As of now, next week is expected to be decisive in talks, with Romeo Agresti having already stated that new meetings will take place soon.
