Milan interested in Newcastle Utd’s Callum Wilson

Serie A giants Milan are interested in the possibility of signing Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson.

The Magpies could sell players this month and Wilson could be a player who could be on the move. Craig Hope has reported that the Rossoneri are interested in the England international and only want to sign him on a permanent basis. Wilson, it has been reported, would also be interested in a move to Italy, if a fee was agreed.

If Milan make an offer for the right price, there could be movement in the saga. Atletico Madrid have already had an attempt rejected but they only made a loan offer. Manager Eddie Howe is keen on keeping the former Bournemouth striker at the club, with his current deal running out in the summer of 2025.

Newcastle see Benjamin Sesko as a potential replacement for Wilson, but it remains to be seen if the striker departs as Sesko’s release clause is currently said to be high.

Meanwhile, the Magpies have rejected Bayern Munich’s attempt for right-back Kieran Trippier and they want to keep him at the St James’ Park.
