Napoli struggling with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s renewal

Serie A side Napoli are currently said to be struggling in their attempt to hand Khvicha Kvaratskhelia a new deal.

Talk about the Georgian’s new deal at the Partenopei has been rumbling on for some months but no progress has been made. CalcioNapoli24 have reported about some details regarding the situation.

In the next few months, CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis will speak to the player’s agent for a renewal but it seems as if the club is currently struggling to match the asking price to renew the deal. De Laurentiis is not going to break the club’s upper limit of wages for new deals and currently, they do not want to go beyond €4 million per season.

The likelihood is that the player’s entourage will demand a wage that is beyond the limit. But Napoli could potentially add bonuses in the deal to potentially reach the demand. As of now though, they are struggling to hand him a new deal.
