PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Lazio v Bayern Munich

A one-to-watch Champions League match is on the menu tonight as an upbeat Lazio meet a recovering Bayern Munich side in the first leg of the Round of 16 stage.

Lazio got back to winning ways in their last match against Cagliari after going winless for three consecutive games across all competitions. The goalless draw with Napoli followed by the 3-1 defeat to Atalanta plunged the Biancocelesti down the table but they made the recovery in the previous league game. Gianluca Gaetano’s goal stood as a consolation for the hosts as Alessandro Deiola, Ciro Immobile and Felipe Anderson put their names up on the scoresheet to grab the three points for their side. Maurizio Sarri has been under pressure recently and will aim to relieve some of that by registering a win tonight.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich enter this match after losing ground in the Bundesliga title race to rivals Bayer Leverkusen. Josip Stanisic, Alex Grimaldo and Jeremie Frimpong routed the Bavarians at the BayArena as Xabi Alonso’s men went five points clear at the top of the pile. Thomas Tuchel has led his side through an unbeaten run in the group stages of the European competition this season as they easily disposed of Copenhagen, Galatasaray and Manchester United. The German manager will hope that lethal goalscorer Harry Kane finds his boots tonight after blanking in an important matchday.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Sky Italia:

Lazio (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Guendouzi, Vecino, Luis Alberto; Isaksen, Immobile, Felipe Anderson

Bayern Munich (4-2-3-1): Neuer; Mazraoui, Kim, Upamecano, Guerreiro; Kimmich, Goretzka; Sané, Müller, Musiala; Kane
