PREDICTED LINE-UPS | Sassuolo v Frosinone

Sassuolo and Frosinone round up against each other tomorrow at the Mapei Stadium as the race for survival intensifies.

Newly appointed manager Davide Ballardini could not make an immediate impact as Sassuolo went down in a relegation six-pointer clash versus Hellas Verona last weekend. Since winning by a narrow margin against Fiorentina at the start of the new year, the Neroverdi are on a winless run which consists of seven defeats and a 1-1 draw with Torino. Currently sitting 19th place in the league standings, Ballardini’s only job now is to secure survival for this season and that is still an achievable task as the Emilia-Romagna club are three points away from safety. They will be hoping the results for Cagliari and Verona go their way and a win tomorrow for Sassuolo could easily change things at the bottom of the table.

Meanwhile, Frosinone will consider this match as a six-pointer as they are currently four points safe of the drop zone but their fate could overturn quickly if they are deprived of any points tomorrow. The Canaries defeated Sassuolo 4-2 earlier this campaign and they will hope for a reversal of the same result. Eusebio Di Francesco’s men have the worst defensive record on the road this season as they have conceded 33 goals, outdoing every other Italian team in the Serie A. Frosinone are without a win in their last six league games and it will key for them to avoid defeat against Sassuolo.

Here are the predicted line-ups for the match according to Calciomercato:

Sassuolo (4-2-3-1): Consigli; Pedersen, Erlic, Ferrari, Doig; Henrique, Boloca; Bajrami, Thorstvedt, Laurienté; Pinamonti.

Frosinone (4-3-3): Cerofolini; Zortea, Okoli, Romagnoli, Valeri; Brescianini, Barrenechea, Mazzitelli; Soulé, Cheddira, Ghedjemis.
