Roma making progress in move for Roma’s Tommaso Baldanzi

Serie A giants Roma are currently making progress in a move for Empoli star Tommaso Baldanzi.

Francesco Balzani has reported about Roma’s progress in Baldanzi, who could still end up at the Giallorossi despite the limited time left in the window. Andrea Belotti and Marash Kumbulla are heading away from the club and that could help in the move for Baldanzi.

The player has given his approval to join the Giallorossi, having spoken to both Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante. Roma are willing to include a young player in the deal, apart from adding a good resale percentage. Empoli are thinking about the decision and they will communicate their decision soon.

They currently want an initial loan deal with the obligation to buy at €12 million. Details of the move are being talked about and if Baldanzi doesn’t join, Roma could attempt a move for Federico Bernardeschi. If the Giallorossi could move on another player in Renato Sanches of Zeki Celik, a move for the 20-year-old could become easier.
