With the Giallorossi’s significant mid-week match against Dutch side Feyenoord in the second leg of the Europa League, Roma star defender Evan Ndicka has resumed group training today in preparation for the match-up.
ForzaRoma.Info reports that the Ivorian international trained apart from his teammates upon his return from the African Cup of Nations.
However, Ndicka has featured with his squad in coach Daniele De Rossi’s most recent training session at Trigoria this morning as a result of showing no signs of any physical issues upon his return to the capital after having been crowned champions of Africa following the Ivory Coast’s 2-1 victory over Nigeria.
In addition, English defender Chris Smalling and Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches have also took part in the training session and are both available at the former Giallorossi skipper’s disposal ahead of the crucial match-up following their 1-1 draw in the opening leg last week away from home.
