Unreal Inter record this season shows their Serie A dominance

Inter kept their brilliant run in the Serie A going at the weekend with a 4-0 win over Lecce and they picked up that result without actually playing a full first-team.

Lautaro Martinez scored a brace, taking his goalscoring tally to 22 in 23 games in the league and he has four assists to his name as well. As result of the win, Inter remained nine points clear at the top of the table in the league while having one game in hand.

A case can be made of the fact that the Nerazzurri pretty much have one hand on the title already, but there is one stat which highlights their dominance.

As of now, Inter have a goal difference of 51, scoring 63 times and conceding only 12 times. But that goal difference isn’t just the best in the league, but it also exceeds the number of goals that any other team has scored in the top flight. Milan have scored 50 times and even they’re one point the Nerazzurri’s impressive goal difference.

This highlights how much dominance Simone Inzaghi’s side have in the league and they keep marching on.
