Sergej Milinkovic-Savic potentially tempted by Arsenal move

With the January market quickly approaching, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could potentially be tempted to move to Premier League giants Arsenal as his next destination.

As it stands, the Serbian international’s contract with the capital club is set to expire in the summer of 2024. Although the 27 year-old’s entourage is working hard in finding a potential suitor in within the winter transfer window, many of the top clubs are not willing to match his supposedly €120 million price tag.

While Arsenal were a club that expressed interest, but were quickly snubbed by Milinkovic-Savic due to their absence from the Europa League, it is very much possible that the central play-maker could change his mind considering the Gunners’ impeccable run of form this season.

According to reports from Il Corriere della Serra, via Tuttomercatoweb, the skipper could be tempted to a move to the Emirates stadium if Arsenal submit an official bid as they are currently the league-leaders, five points ahead of last year’s Premier League champions Manchester City.

So far this season, the Serbian international has shined within the middle of the park, attaining three goals and seven assists in 14 Serie A appearances for the Biancocelesti.
