Juventus’ appeal will either cancel or confirm their points deduction sentence

Juventus are set to appeal to the Sports Guarantee Form against their huge 15 point deduction which was yesterday confirmed following their shady dealings over recent years.

The appeal will see the Court of Appeal of the FIGC, publish the reasons for the judgment within 10 days. Following this, Juventus have a month to resort to the College of Guarantee of Sport at the Coni, which is the last rank of sports justice.

In their appeal Juventus will not be able to reduce their sentence, there are no half measures, instead the appeal will only be able to confirm or cancel the sentence, report Sky Italia.

Juventus’ lawyers have spoken out on the sentence, stating that “This is a blatant injustice, even towards millions of enthusiasts, who we trust will soon be remedied in the next degree of judgment.”

The -15 has left Juventus in 10th position with just 22 points, this deduction ends their unlikely title charge which many had considered as they won several consecutive games, prior to the Napoli loss.
