Leeds United in contact for Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo today

Leeds United are in contact with Roma for forward Nicolo Zaniolo today, amidst rumours yesterday also stating that contact was made during the talks for Diego Llorente.

According to sources contacted by Get Italian Football News, Leeds’ contacts with Roma have been constant today morning and the situation is similar to how it was yesterday. The Giallorossi want to sell the player permanently, with Leeds currently looking to offer an initial loan deal with the option to buy the Italian permanently.

The Whites currently see Zaniolo as a replacement for Jack Harrison and they are in advanced talks to sell the player to Leicester City.

Zaniolo was linked with moves to other Premier League sides such as Tottenham, Brighton and Bournemouth. While the Cherries had an offer accepted by Roma, the player rejected the move. He was keen on a move to Spurs, but the London club could never meet Roma’s demands.
