Serie A PREVIEW | Juventus vs Monza

Monza will look to complete the double over the Old Lady as they travel to Turin on Sunday to face the fallen giant.

Juventus have gone from a top four battle to being outside the top 10 after their 15 point deduction and last week’s exhilarating 3-3 draw with Atalanta.

Monza meanwhile will be hoping to continue their unbeaten league run which stands at four games.

The two sides met two weeks ago in the Coppa Italia, which saw Juventus triumph in a hard fought 2-1.

A win would move Juventus up to eighth, however they would sit at least nine points off the European spots and Atalanta who currently occupy sixth.

Meanwhile Monza can move above Juventus with a win here, something not many would have predicted at the beginning of this storied Serie A season.

Team News

Juventus are without youngster Kaio Jorge and stalwart Leonardo Bonucci, while Bremer and Manuel Locatelli remain doubtful.

Monza will be missing Giulio Donati and Filippo Ranocchia who will be injured for sure, while Stefano Sense and on-loan Nicolo Rovella will also be doubts for the underdogs.

Juventus predicted XI | Szczesny; Danilo, Bremer, Sandro; Fagioli, Locatelli, Rabiot; Chiesa, Di Maria, Kostic; Milik.

Monza predicted XI | Di Gregorio; Izzo, Mari, Marlon; Birindelli, Pessina, Rovella, Augusto; Ciurria, Caprari; Petagna.

Prediction | Juventus 2-1 Monza; For all their controversy and failings both on and off the pitch, Juventus remain formidable at force. Therefore, Juventus should make up for lost ground by picking up a hard fought win here.
